Join us as we complete "The First Winter" by the United ReSisters of Green Bay, a collection of their trailblazing stories, reflections, conversations, letters, lists, and poems about their experiences as refugees and journeys to the United States. During this time, we will answer guided discussion questions in community and dig deeper into the experiences of the authors.
This quarterly book club will introduce books that help educate the community about social justice issues which will keep the YWCA's mission of "eliminating racism and empowering women" top of mind. The YWomen Read Book Club takes place on the third Thursday of every month beginning on January 21st from 6:30-7:30pm.
