Writer's Night is back!
Lion’s Mouth Writers Night invites poets, fiction and nonfiction writers, essayists, avid journalers, etc. to share their words with fellow pen-wielders to build that space. No experience needed, and no completed work necessary. Just bring stories to share.
Somewhat similar to the hit storytelling series “The Moth,” each reader will have 10 minutes to stand before an audience of word lovers and share original work or tell a story off the top of their head. All ages are welcome, so creative wordsmithing is encouraged.
Readers can volunteer as they arrive; no advanced sign-up necessary. There will be time to mingle between readers, so bring friends and be ready to chat. And, fans of writing are more than welcome! Not everyone is required to share, feel free to simply listen respectfully.
