Grassroots in the Garden is a series of free educational workshops open to the public where you can learn gardening from an experienced mentor and get hands-on practice. Weeding is a skill that’s as tough as it is important. Thankfully there’s a great opportunity to learn at the Seymour Park Food Forest. Join us on June 4th where Crystal Brown will be teaching leading a Grassroots in the Garden session on identifying weeds and the best ways to deal with them. She’ll also be presenting tips on mulching and harvesting bee balm.
