This class is designed for the beginning to intermediate student. Basic watercolor techniques will be covered through step-by-step instruction. Experiment with wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry and hard and soft lines. Students will create a new painting every session with the goal being to make your painting look like a watercolor piece. Several small paintings will be completed and you will end the day inspired to find your own personal style.

*This class is rooted in photo realism.

Please visit Micheals to purchase the following supplies:
--Pad of paper, 9x12 or 11x15! I prefer Canson over Strathmore.
--Colors: Ultramarine, New Gamboge, Quinacridone Magenta (If you can’t find the three colors I have listed, you can get an assortment of rainbow colors. I don’t use white, black, or brown! Stay away from the Artists Loft brand. Windsor&Newton is best!)
--Brushes: 0 rigger, 6 or 8 round, 12 round
--Pallet
--Paper towel
--Pencil
--Water bucket
--Masking tape, masking fluid, and some kind of hard board (plexiglass or Masonite) to tape your paper to. (We won’t use masking fluid the first day)
