On May 14, UNBROKEN comes to Green Bay as a collaborative gallery experience—bringing together two photographers using their work to process, document, and share real stories.
Featuring:
Jeremiah (Butter with the Shutter) | A Milwaukee-based, award-recognized photographer known for striking architectural and urban imagery—capturing structure, stillness, and perspective in a way that invites reflection.
Anthony Alvarado (The Unbroken Project) | A portrait-based storytelling series centered on grief, overdose loss, and healing—featuring real people and the stories they carry.

Alvarado writes: "I started UNBROKEN after losing my son to an overdose—6 years ago this May. Since then, I’ve heard too many stories like mine… and not enough spaces to share them. This is about changing that."

Together, the artists create a shared space—where environment meets emotion, and where art opens the door to conversation. No stage. No program. Just space to walk through, take it in, and connect.

We don’t heal in silence.
We don’t carry this alone.
We are unbroken—when we share our stories, together.

Optional Story Sharing: If you’ve lost someone, there will be space for you here.
Alvarado will be offering optional portraits and conversations for those who want to share and be part of this growing movement.

No pressure. Some come to view. Some stay to share.
Light snacks. Music. Real conversations.
Come by for a few minutes or stay awhile.

Support + Sponsors | This is part of a growing movement—and the beginning of something bigger. We’re currently looking for sponsors and partners to help expand this work, including a future large-scale public mural in Wisconsin featuring these stories.
