Instructor Biography
I believe art is a part of everyone's life. The more you learn about art, through art history, aesthetics, criticism, and art- making, the more you can understand and enjoy it. I graduated in 1987 from UW-Milwaukee, receiving a Bachelor's in Fine Arts with a teaching certification. I moved back home to Green Bay and taught at several schools. I also continued pursuing more education by attending St. Norberts College and UW-Green Bay. I kept active by being the Regional Vice President of the Wisconsin Art Education Association and Youth Art Month co-chair. I have since moved to the Manitowoc area and continued my teaching career, currently working at the Rahr West Art Museum. I facilitate GriefShare, and have created a program called " Working Creatively Through Grief ", which is held at the Art Museum in Manitowoc. Also, I am excited to be teaching at the Art Garage!
