Join us Friday, November 14th, from 5-7pm for the opening of our November Invitational, UNCENSORED, co-curated by UWGB Artist-in-Residence, Dessarae Bassil.
UNCENSORED invites artists to respond to recent attempts to censor the arts and artistic identities in spaces like the Smithsonian and the Kennedy Center. In particular, featured artists explore and push against heteronormative constructs of gender as they seek to provide visibility, conversation, and community while upholding the values of free speech in art spaces.
