The Neville Public Museum is proud to bring UW-GB professor Zack Kruse back to the museum for its 4th season of the horror film series “Nightmares at the Neville.” Nightmares at the Neville showcases three classic horror films with discussions led by Kruse, who is a scholar of comics, film, and American literature.
Popcorn and soda will be available for purchase prior to each film’s showing. (cash only for popcorn)
Theatre doors open at 5:30pm.
The Last Man on Earth (1964)
Experience a classic post-apocalyptic horror film starring Vincent Price. Based on Richard Matheson’s novel I Am Legend, The Last Man on Earth follows Dr. Robert Morgan,
a scientist who believes he may be the last uninfected person alive after a devastating plague transforms humanity into vampiric creatures. As Morgan struggles to survive alone, he encounters another survivor who challenges his understanding of the plague—and his place in the world.
Directed by Sidney Salkow and Ubaldo Ragona, this atmospheric science fiction horror film was filmed on location in Rome and was the first of three film adaptations of Matheson’s novel.
