The New Community Shelter is hosting a Job Fair open to the public. Tuesday, August 20th 4pm-7pm. Staff will be available to give tours, answer questions about The New Community Shelter and explain the different positions that are available.
The positions we have available are Part-Time with varied hours in our House Supervisor and Meal Supervisor departments.
The New Community Shelter is a non-profit organization with a mission of “Helping People Help Themselves” to adults who are experiencing homelessness and providing a balanced meal 365 days a year for anyone in our community that are in need.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with initiative. No prior experience necessary.
Individuals should have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
The ability to make decisions and work unsupervised while effectively managing time to complete all essential duties.
A High School Diploma or GED
