MOMMY & ME - LEATHER CRAFTS WORKSHOP

Cost: $45 for 2 (mother/daughter)

Workshop Description:
Learn how to cut, glue, and use various leather materials to make usable leather crafts! Using leather tools, learn how to measure the thickness of leather and set eyelets, snaps, and rivets. For this specific workshop, each student will leave with a completed key chain and piece of jewelry. You and your child will explore leather and enjoy being creative in a group setting. We provide a creative and comfortable environment! It's all about having fun, meeting new people, and creating a project together that you can be proud of.
Classes are for children ages 6 and up! We supply all the materials for the project! You are welcome to bring snacks along to the class. A parent or guardian must be present for the duration of the class. This cost covers a Mommy/Guardian along with 1 child, aged 6+.

About the Instructor:
Roxanne Gaul graduated from MATC Madison with a degree in Interior Design, and worked as a designer for a decade in just about every field including Paint Color Consultation, Kitchen Design, Remodeling, Window and Door Sales, and a Interior Design Assistant locally at Designs of the Interior in 2012 and Ethan Allen in 2015. I've had my own business called Verbena Handmade for 5 years now where I sew and craft, making handbags, shoulder bags, pillows, and other accessories using a blend of new and re purposed materials. My new focus for my business is Zero Waste products and items that help consumers reduce single use plastic. Roxanne has also taught for our Youth Summer Art Workshop program!
