This special FREE event will feature live actors as they bring key figures from the team’s past to life.
The Living Packers Heritage Trail event offers a unique opportunity to hear captivating stories about the history of the Packers, gaining a deeper understanding of the community’s longstanding love and support for the team and its origins downtown. Each stop will feature a figure pivotal to the Packers’ early days, providing an entertaining and educational glimpse into the team's extraordinary past.
Experienced by foot, bike, or car, the Living Packers Heritage Trail is for participants of all ages and abilities to enjoy in the way that suits them best. A passport, including a map, are available ahead of time at touchdowntown.com and can be picked up at stops along the Trail that morning. Participants can start at any location and ample parking is available nearby.
Attendees will have the chance to meet Vince Lombardi outside of Hotel Northland, Curly Lambeau at the Northern Building on Walnut, see the "Miracle of Green Bay" banners, and hear live music from the Green Bay Packers Tailgater Band at City Stadium on the East High School grounds. A total of 10 stops along the City Walk portion of the Packers Heritage Trail will be brought to life. Whether you're a history buff, a fan of the green and gold, or just looking for an unique way to explore downtown, this event offers something for everyone.

This event is a perfect complimentary activity to all that is happening while Green Bay hosts the Draft. It is a collaboration of Downtown Green Bay Inc., the Brown County Historical Society, Evergreen Theater, and Brown County Library.
This event is part of the Touchdown Downtown series during the 2025 Draft. Attendees are encouraged to park in the nearby Downtown Parking Ramps.
