Join us for a live reading and signing event with local author J. Mercer! She will be reading from her recent YA release In One Life and Out Another which, along with her novel Perfection and Other Illusive Things, highlights various locations pulled from and inspired by the Green Bay area.

About the Novel
One girl meets two lives in this "powerly authentic young adult novel" (Indies Today). When Marin's parents tell her they're getting divorced--or, in a parallel universe, they don't--her life is split in two. Without an easy answer, she must decide how far she'll go--and who she's willing to sacrifice--to save herself.

About the Author
J. Mercer (who you might know as Joanna Mercier) grew up in the Green Bay area where she walked home from school with her head in a book, filled notebooks with stories in junior high, then went to college for accounting and psychology only to open a dog daycare.

She now writes women’s fiction and young adult novels, freelance edits, and talks revision on The Novel Ending podcast. Her young adult novels have received multiple awards, and Shady Woods rated a
perfect ten from the BookLife Prize, an indie arm of Publisher's Weekly. She wishes she were an expert linguist and enjoys exploring with her husband and two daughters.
