From acclaimed director Ryūsuke Hamaguchi (Drive my Car) Evil does not Exist follows a single father, Takumi, and his young daughter, Hana, living in a peaceful Japanese mountain village. Their tranquil, nature-integrated life is disrupted when a Tokyo-based agency proposes building a luxury glamping site nearby. The corporate developers meet fierce resistance from locals worried about environmental damage and water pollution.
All films begin at 7:00pm in the Neville Public Museum auditorium and are on the 1st Wednesday of the month.
All films are free and open to the public and are unrated but intended for a mature audience.
