Free Community Lunchtime Talk at Neville:
‘Human Trafficking 101’ will be held Wednesday, April 9

GREEN BAY — The Altrusa Club of Green Bay is the proud sponsor of the free Community Lunchtime Talk "Human Trafficking 101" on Wednesday, April 9, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Neville Museum, 210 Museum Place, Green Bay.
This important topic will be addressed by attorney Kasia Klaus, executive director of Awaken Justice (awakenjustice.org) in Green Bay. Human trafficking is a timely topic in the community, with the NFL Draft only weeks away.
Awaken Justice’s mission is to increase awareness and education in the community surrounding the issue of commercial sexual exploitation and to provide healing and restoration for its victims.
As a former prosecutor, Klaus says that her trial experience enables her to fearlessly advocate for survivors of sexual exploitation. She developed a passion for combating sex trafficking in 2010 while interning with a nonprofit organization in Washington, D.C., that focused on human trafficking legislation.
