As a child, a much referenced childhood incident involving her grandmother’s ring, labeled Elizabeth Matson a “good finder.” As a storyteller, she has become a Finder of Lost Things, searching her memories and family tree to find the stories — known and unknown, told and untold — that shaped her ancestors, herself, and the world we find ourselves in today.
