Calling all book lovers and creative spirits!
Join us at Clay Studio 1242 to create a one-of-a-kind book shaped vase!
Shake off those winter blues and get into the spring spirit! This is the perfect piece for holding fresh flowers and adding a literary touch to your home décor.
Our studio provides all materials and step-by-step instruction, so beginners and experienced makers alike are welcome!
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design and build your own clay vase that can give a nod to your favorite book or novel. We’ll have tons of texture rollers, stamps, and molds available to help you decorate your piece. Want to make it even more personal? Feel free to bring your own items such as flowers, lace, or Cricut stencils to press or imprint unique designs into the clay.
Once you have crafted your piece, you will choose from one of our many glaze colors to add that perfect finish to your vase!

Come have some fun and create a beautiful, book-inspired vase that’s perfect for displaying flowers or gifting to your favorite reader.
Once your creation is fired, it will be thoroughly dried in our studio and then will go through a bisque fire. It will then be glazed and go through a second firing. This process takes 4-6 weeks. Once your vase is all, done, we will message you to stop by the studio for pick-up!
