Artist: Wes Martin

Artist Statement:
“My influence comes from the combination of the Pueblos of my birthplace in New Mexico, my childhood home on the Menominee Reservation, and the skateboard culture that consumed my life in the early 80's. This piece is inspired by the Pueblo pottery of the Southwest that adorned my house growing up.” - Wes Martin

The mixture you see here produces a bold semi-abstract graphic based off Wes’s Native American lineage. His studying and technical experience comes from fine art practice of print making gained at the University of New Mexico.
