About the Artist
Artist: Keith Carter of Clay Studio 1242 & Don Krumpos of Yonder (Assisted by nearly 900 participants at the first Annual ArtFest Green Bay event in July of 2023)
Artist Statement:
This clay mural, the first of its kind in our district, displays the collaborative efforts of members of the community who made their mark. Whether participants worked with the wet clay to create textures and dimension or painted colorful underglazes, they proved that everyone is an artist! The life-giving properties of the river remind us of how we connect with our natural resources, especially the Fox River that runs through our downtown.
