Artist Statement:
This vibrant mural is a stunning addition to Cherry Landing. Painted in the summer of 2024 during the CityDeck Family Shows, it captures the creative spirit of children and parents who participated in the event. Local artist Susanne Preuss guided the creation of the 10 large panels, infusing her own artistic flair to bring the bright, cheerful scene to life. Titled “Create Your Own Sunshine,” this mural carries a meaningful message for all who experience it, offering a moment of joy and inspiration as they stroll along the Fox River.
