Then & Now Art®, by artist Jacob Sieg, is an art form that focuses on the seamless transition between two periods of time. Re-Photography is the act of repeat photography of the same site, with a time lag between the two images - a “then and now” view. Regards to perspective, focal length, depth of field film type, and time of day all need to be calculated for an officially accurate recreation. Our artwork provides a seamless transition that is not only visually pleasing but also promises to provoke the feeling of nostalgia, creating conversation for years to come.
