Learn recommended pruning tools and techniques to promote health, aesthetics, and production. Dress for the weather! Indoor presentation followed by real-life pruning of small fruit trees in the Cellcom Children’s Edible Garden. Led by Andy DiMezza, arborist and educator with the local nonprofit Rooted In, Inc. Receive instructive handouts, recipes from Rooted In’s Chef Selena Darrow, and a brief overview of the local Urban Food Forest initiative.
