Blankets needed … one for each meal bag. We will have a blanket drive on Christmas Day. People can drive up and put blankets in bins along the curb in front of Spring Lake Church. The need is greater than ever. I speak personally spoken to each elderly or homebound individual. They are SO GRATEFUL that others would think of them, remember them, and spend time on their Christmas Day to deliver a meal. Meals will be packed in the church community room with. All food preparation work done inside the church will require that volunteers wear gloves and hair nets. Meal pickup by delivery drivers and individuals from the community will happen on the sidewalk outside the church. Drivers will be given packed food bags with a list of addresses. Individuals will be given prepackaged meals to take with them.
