Booyah Battle Sponsored by Mission Drywall
Join in the fun on the streets of Green Bay as 12 local Non-Profits partner with Booyah Chefs to serve up Wisconsin’s favorite soup to football fans here for the NFL Draft. Visitors and locals alike will determine who makes the best booyah in the land! Other local specialties will be highlighted such as Uncle Mike’s Kringle & bakery items, polka music, and more surprises.
LiveWire Polka Band will be performing from 10:00-1:00. Learn more about LiveWire here.
Attendees will purchase tickets at a tent operated by DGBI. Each ticket will be $3.00 for a 6 oz. sample of booyah. There will also be an all you can taste option for $20.00. Cash or Credit Card will be accepted. The proceeds of ticket sales will be split equally among the Non-Profit groups. Water and soda will also be sold by DGBI. Alcoholic beverages will be sold by the bars/restaurants located along the event footprint.
There will be two prizes for the Booyah Battle. The winner of the best booyah will be determined by a panel of judges who will blind taste test a sample from each chef. There will also be a People’s Choice award determined by the number of voting tickets each Non-Profit/Chef receives. Booyah voting tickets will be given out to attendees with their tasting samples.
The winner for each of these awards will receive $500! The Non-Profit/Booyah Partners will also be able to set out tip jars to collect extra donations.
