Performing with infectious energy and an undeniable joy, Pert Near’s strong songcraft melds with old-time sensibilities in a unique brand of modern string band music they deliver to fans around the world. You may know Pert Near Sandstone from the Blue Ox Music Festival in Eau Claire, WI which they have the privilege of co-founding, curating, and hosting.
Chicken Wire Empire is a progressive bluegrass band, will be opening up the night. Its five members have spent a lifetime honing their craft, with deep roots in bluegrass, jam band, classical, and other genres.
