Maggie Ginsberg is a writer, editor and author in Wisconsin. She is a senior editor at Madison Magazine and an award-winning freelance writer for city, regional and national magazines since 2006. Still True (University of Wisconsin Press) is her debut novel. If she’s not at her desk, she’s probably in the woods.

Christina Clancy is the author of two novels, The Second Home and Shoulder Season, St. Martin’s Press. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, the Chicago Tribune, The Sun Magazine and in literary journals including Glimmer Train Stories, Pleiades, Hobart, The Minnesota Review and elsewhere. She has a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and formerly taught English at Beloit College. She lives in Madison, Wisconsin.

"Ginsberg’s prose is dreamy and rhapsodic and even as her characters make dreadful mistakes, she always treats them with profound decency and empathy."

– Nickolas Butler, bestselling author of Shotgun Lovesongs and Little Faith

“Shoulder Season shines a bright light on a neglected moment in history and tells a coming-of-age story I've truly never read before. In Sherri, Christina Clancy rescues the Playboy Bunny from ridicule and illuminates her inner life with all of the richness and complexity she deserves.”

- Lauren Fox, author of Send for Me and Days of Awe
