This class is an introductory class, but it's for anyone in the novel-writing stage--whether you're brainstorming, drafting, or revising. We will discuss characterization, setting, dialogue, prose style, imagery, and revision. We'll also discuss writing routines and how you might go about making a schedule for your work in progress. Short in-class exercises will be mixed in with craft discussion. The goal is for you to leave the class with new ideas while feeling a sense of momentum for your work.
