Interested in web or software development?

ReactJS Green Bay is a free monthly meetup for anyone interested in staying up to date on the latest trends and developments in front-end software development.

The group meets at Headway, located in downtown Green Bay.

There are many different ways to manage state in a React app, and the abundance of choices can be overwhelming for beginners and experienced developers alike. Since React was open-sourced in 2015, there have been multiple waves of state-management trends, and because of the speed of the JS ecosystem, it can feel like there's a new popular library out every month.

In this talk, Nico, a developer at Headway, will be going over using Hooks and the Context API to build a state management tool from scratch that does everything your favorite library can.

No prior knowledge is needed for this event, but those who have used React in any capacity will get the most out of it. We plan to start from the basics and dive into deeper concepts as we go along.

Can't join us in person? You can still watch and ask questions remotely!
