Since 1995, Brown County students have been challenged to paint, draw, or draft a piece of creative writing celebrating a theme inspired by the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

This year’s theme is “Reaching for the Mountaintops… How do we get there?” On exhibit at the Neville Public Museum are the award-winning works of creative writing and illustration by kindergarten through 12th grade students from Brown County.

This celebration is organized collaboratively representatives of Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, St. Norbert College, Green Bay Area Public Schools, Bellin Health, Humana, & Community Volunteers.
