‘Letters from Clara: One Intrepid Woman’s Travels on the Eve of War, 1936-1939’, published by the Wisconsin Historical Society Press, tells the story of a woman whose life was profoundly impacted by the YWCA. Janet will describe her adventure in piecing together Clara’s story and learning about the work of the YWCA in the 1920s and 1930s, both locally and globally.
Free lunch will be provided from 11:00-11:45 am
Janet’s presentation will be from 11:45am-12:30 pm.

Lon Newman will be playing peace songs on his guitar before and after Janet’s presentation.
