Celebrate Aldo Leopold Week by learning about local conservation organizations, listening to a community reading of select essays from the conservation classic A Sand County Almanac, and watching a screening of the Emmy award-winning documentary film Green Fire: Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic for our Time, which explores the life and legacy of Wisconsin conservationist Aldo Leopold. Coordinated in partnership with the Aldo Leopold Foundation.
Schedule is as follows: 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm: Conservation Fair; 2:00 pm - 2:30 pm: Readings from A Sand County Almanac 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm: Screening of Green Fire
