Olde Main Street's Annual Meeting
Olde Main Street, Inc. will host their 2011 State of the Street meeting on Wednesday, January 25, 2011 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the ARTgarage (1400 Cedar Street). The event will include a “Taste of Olde Main Street,” highlights from 2011, business and volunteer recognitions and district initiatives for 2012. Free parking off of Cedar Street. New Leaf Winter Farmers Market Presented by Bellin Health
Bellin Health, Downtown Green Bay, Inc. & New Leaf Market announce the 2nd Annual New Leaf Winter Farmers Market at the KI Convention Center in Downtown Green Bay (333 Main Street). We are excited to present an expanded six date market series that we hope will continue for many years!
The 6-date series will feature over 70 vendors featuring local meats, cheeses, produce, jams, jellies, pastries, breads and local arts and crafts plus live entertainment each week. Vendor space is still available for food-related vendors. There is currently a waiting list for non-food vendors. If you are interested, download the 2011-2012 application below. Lighting Ceremony On Broadway
The traditional holiday Lighting Ceremony On Broadway is Friday, November 16, 2012 in the Broadway District. From 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the district will have free hayrides, carolers and live music. Broadway Businesses will have live window displays, specials and/or refreshments during that time as well. Santa will also be making his merry way through the area handing out candy and doing some shopping of his own.
At 5:30 p.m., event-goers gather in front of at the corner of Broadway and Hubbard for the official Lighting Ceremony On Broadway countdown officiated by On Broadway, Inc. (OBI) Board Members and Broadway Businesss Owners and City of Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt. Don’t miss this event—when the lights go on, Broadway is truly a sight to behold!
